Here's another great project plan for you from Kreg.  This time, follow along as HGTV's Jeff Devlin walks you through the steps to build a beautifully distressed bookcase (distressed not your style? Don't worry, you can customize however you want)

Outstanding, a bomb proof book case which should last forever. He didn't have to spend a fortune on materials and the joinery is simple. This would be a perfect project for a beginner to develop some confidence. As someone who works in a small workshop i can appreciate how hard it is to operate in a confined space. I find wearing tool belts for framers in a worshop to be cumbersome and dangerous, a workvest with detachable bags from occidental leather is a much better choice. Keep up the good work.

I liked the Jim Carrey impersonation in the out-takes myself.  Just a naturally funny guy - use it in your next video.  Also, multiple cameras would save time and improve details and editing.
Great job with the bookcase,I just love the way you used pocket screws on the faceing---Super job
Tried to download the plans... you need to register as a dealer??????

Why do you show minutes and minutes of a guy rambling on about what he is going to do, and then cut out the parts of him actually doing it? I want to see him /doing/ the work, not just talking about it. This sort of defeats the point of having a video.
I agree on this.  A video of the actual work being performed is worth a thousand words as the old saying goes.
I have used my Kregg jig in ways it was not designed for.  Example, I used it to mount the replacement rails to the posts on my deck so that nails would not be exposed to  collect water and rust.  Another example was to support roof sheeting with 2x4 s cut to fit and installed with Kregg jig and pocket screws.  This was a good choice because hammering nails to install or even shoot with a nail gun was impossible or very awkward.  Using the pocket screws was fast, easy and SOLID .

is there any plans to making the sled for the cross cut that i can download?

thanks

Lots of plans available as well as several U-tube show n' tells. Try a google search.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
