Hmmmm---A power boat???What's next OLD SHOES?What's with the photos of objects that have nothing to do with wood-working, skill building, or the use of KREG tools to build a product?GEEZ---what's…Continue

Four 4" wheel Heavy-Duty locking swivel casters, located near the outermost corners, will suffice.
Make the base frame from 2x4 stock, with stretchers spaced 16" running the 4ft direction.

Great point you've made re the air-flow direction and dust that can get in the router.
Nice design feature with the Triton.

Thanks for your reply.
I don't have any P-C battery powered tools---
they're relatively new on the market.
Perhaps they'll suffice for the average homeowner and the ocassional user.
When it comes to industrial and HD use…"
One reason I mentioned Porter-Cable, is that I've been using P-C routers and nailers, for over 15 years---
to-date, I've had no issues, or failures. They perform to my satisfaction and perform reliably.
Some have gotten lots…"
Porter-Cable 890 series
Both available in varialble speed.
Fixed and plunge base.
Fixed base installed in the router table.

Consider "louvered" doors, (or put a couple of grilles through the door), to your utility room.

Ripping off an 1/8" is not an issue on the table saw, when done correctly.

so the narrow strip will be on the outside of the saw blade."

RE "Black stain"---it's like a "dye-like" material---
it will not cover the imperfections and color variations in poplar wood.
The variations will be visible when a varnish like material is applied over the black…"
"Re: the cut-out for the bowls
Use a 1/4" round-over bit, in a hand-held router, to smooth the saw-cut edges to make them smooth.
If needed, follow-up with 150-180grit sandpaper, as a follow-up, if needed."
"Cut plywwod using a "fine-tooth" saw blade.
A fine-tooth blade will minimize "tear-out"---
the finer the blade, the smoother the cut.
Use a slow feed, during the process, so as to allow the blade teeth to carry away the…"
Thank you Ken for the suggestions I was actually trying to decide between the K4 and the K5 but was leaning towards the K4, I've got the basic frame design for my work bench and I'm probably going to use metal diamond plate but the ladder for shelves idea I am definitely doing and also the fire hydrant water dispenser those were great ideas that I'll definitely use and I was going to put an emblem on it but was going to paint it but your idea to chisel it is a much better way to do it. Thank you for the ideas I just can't wait to be able to start making my bench at least I'll have a few months to design it while my arm heals.
Yes it does , but no it is counter top edge remenant . thanks for consern I have several different patterns of this material .I ve made several kitcheen stands and islands of this different material. Find it at Menards in the shelving department advertised as discontinued shelving. Very nice and cheap material. thanks Cecil
