Hi everyone,
Just got my 720 jig. I noticed that when I put the drill bit into the drill guide, it does not go through. The tip of the drill bit does not extrude from the guide. A photo is attached.
I wonder if it is normal, because if the bit does not touch the workpiece, it won't make the pocket hole.
Or if I force it through it will drill out the plastics of the guide?
Could anyone shed some light on it? Thanks

It’s normal for the tip of the drill bit not to extrude from the guide in its resting position. The drill bit is designed to work in conjunction with the depth collar and the drill guide to ensure precise pocket holes.
Make sure the drill bit is properly set up with the depth collar adjusted according to the thickness of your workpiece. Refer to the user manual or markings on the jig for the correct settings. When you start drilling, the bit will cut through the guide and into the workpiece without damaging the guide itself, as long as everything is aligned correctly.

Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing. How effective is it? It's adaptable to any router table. Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
