I was wondering who preffered what when it came to table saw blades, I need a new blade. The one that I had in my saw became bent while I was cutting panels for some cabinet doors I was exposed to table saw kick back for the first time.{hence my new profile picture}.

I'm looking for a good combo blade I have a frued combo blade now and was wondering if a forrest woodworker was all that much better to justify the price. And do blade stabilizers make that much of a difference.

Thanks RV

I like the new Irwin Marple blades 50 tooth good combination blade for $38. I have this blade on my tablesaw and radialarm. These blades are made in Italy like Freud in the reviews the comment that they look like Freuds. This price from Lowes where I buy them.

Hi Rick - Just be aware that just because the tooth count is the same, the Freud and diablo blades could have different blade geometries and characteristics.

thanks for all the info.  I am going to play a bit and since I can get a diablo 24.40,60,80 tooth line up of blades.

Yes thank.  I made sure that each blade I looked at by Diablo had the stated purpose I intended to use it for on the blade.  I am assuming that if "fine finish" is what the blade was designed for its geometry would be correct for that purpose if from a reputable manufacture such as Freud.

Diablo is a Freud product, marketed for home centers.

Here's my 2 cent Diablo is one of the best blade's out there for the poor wood worker and if seeing is beliveing everything I have posted and in the futur as well has been done with Diablo? And you dont do work like this with a screw up blade.

David , your 2 cent,s well said , and your work speak,s for it,s self , all of your projects are very nice and well done, thanks for sharing them and enjoy looking at them , have a good day , JIM !!

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
