Did kreg merge with Triton

If so maybe you could help me I just purchased a Triton 2/14 hp router but it is missing the 1/4 collet and the winder handle for use in the router table.  Bought off craigslist for $100 dollars. Really smooth running router very quiet also. Missing the guide and circle cutter.

Hi Gary - sounds like a good score, I've got their smaller JOF001 and it's a nice setup. Just wish I had gone with the 2-1/4 though. Heard a lot of real good things about the bigger 3 HP.

Let us know how it goes. Just out of curiosity, did the seller indicate why he was selling?

Hi guys ,i have the 2-1/4 and the 3-1/4hp bench mounted.The larger horse power model a bit bulky for hand held use i think. But both good machines had no problems with either.

I had problems at first with the collet was frozen on the shaft. I finally got brave enough to rap the collet lightly with the wrench loosen the collet I was able to slide on a couple of my 1/2 inch bits. Thanks to all got the name  and # for triton support with part# of parts I need. 1/4 collet and winder crank for above router table height adjustment.

Hi Gary - that should be a self releasing collet. If the collet wont come out when the nut comes off, it generally means someone has tightened it up with no bit installed. It doesn't take much, with no bit in there it is possible to jam the collet by hand tightening, DAMHIKT.
