Ronnie,
right off the top of my head I know both Rockler and Woodcraft sell the wheels like you describe.
Hope this helps, Don
Ronnie,
Here is an alternative to purchasing the wheels I mentioned above. All I have is the picture, but I bet plans could be purchased from the wood store, which I believe is associated with Wood magazine.
ok thank you very much
I recently put a set of caster wheels on my 300# work bench. They were bought on Amazon. They are PowerTech 17000. They are easy to install and work great. I can push my bench around easily with one hand.
Rockler has them on sale. I used these on my bench, and they work great. I may pick up another set for the lathe cart I am working on.
I got 4 heavy duty locking casters from Menards for mine. 2 swivel and 2 straight. Works great. Can lock in place when I don't want it to move and easily unlock when I need to push it around.
If you go with the Rocker Workbench Casters Rockler also sells a quick-release bracket that allows the casters to be quickly removed - so they don't get in the way. You could also get teh quick-release brakets for several workbenches and only use one set of casters to move them - if money was tight.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
