Hi guys,
Planning to make king size frame bed, confuse which jig to choose to accommodate the 2x (2x4, 2x6 and 2x8) woods and screws, is it the jig master or the jig HD?
Thank you so much,
Richard

Richard,
Like James, we would recommend the Kreg Jig HD for this project, as it is optimized for working with 2x4s and larger stock. You can learn more about the Kreg Jig HD here: http://www.kregtool.com/Kreg-Jig-HD-Prodview.html.

If you are making a king size bed frame, I would recommend using specialized bed hardware for fastening the sides to the head or foot. Rockler has several styles. That way the bed could be moved at some point.
Pocket screws, of course, could be used at assemble any of these sub-assemblies.
I made a bed using my KMS, similar to the plans on Ana White's site. It would have been nice to have the HD jig, with the larger screws, but I used lots of screws and it's help up well. If you're only going to buy one jig, I think the KMS is more flexible for use on other projects.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
