Kreg Precision Trak & Stops - Fence/Table

I've never written a blog before so I hope this is how it's supposed to be done.

I purchased the Kreg K3 Master System a short time back. I have now completed 2 of the bookcases that are available on the Kreg site. I found it necessary to modify the dimensions some on the 2nd case so that it would fit into a particular niche in our kitchen.

As I worked these two projects I found that I was in "need" of precise cuts on the… Continue

Hi Steve, I am glad to be a friend and will send you some photos as soon as I get back out to the shop.  I will also send you some of the other attachment that is also a good thing to have, as it will help keep wood against the fence and at the same time will also help prevent kick back from lumber that has a bow in it as well as flat lumber.  It will push down bowed lumber and hold it flat against the table.    Photos will be coming soon.  Thanks again for the friendship and wish you and yours the best of the holiday season.

Steve,

The distribution center is just outside Greenville, SC. The company TTI or One World Technologies owns Ryobi, Ridgid and Milwaukee.  They recently bought Delta or are tied to the company that bought Delta.  They have a sale 4x per year and have good deals.

Steve I purchased screws from www.sommerfeldstools.com.
I dont think the shoulder is any smaller and if it is they seem to work real well.$6.90 for 500- 1-1/2 for all screws and no shipping

Thanks for the welcome message, Steve. I just got my K3 a few days ago, and have been sick ever since. I think I'm over this bug enough to finally get out to the shop (a.k.a. garage) and build something today. Figured I'd start with the workbench, but then I get to build a cover for a litter box. The list of projects is ongoing, and I'm convinced the K3 will make it easier, faster and probably even better than I could've done otherwise. We'll see soon… ;-)
