I have just finished building a deck using the Kreg Deck Jig. This is the third home deck I have built, hope it is my last. The first deck built in the 50's we used galvenized nails to hold the decking down, and every year or so pounded the old nails down and added some new ones. The second deck, built in the 70's, I used spiral galvenized screws that had much better holding but over some years still had to be reseated.
