I have just finished building a deck using the Kreg Deck Jig. This is the third home deck I have built, hope it is my last. The first deck built in the 50's we used galvenized nails to hold the decking down, and every year or so pounded the old nails down and added some new ones. The second deck, built in the 70's, I used spiral galvenized screws that had much better holding but over some years still had to be reseated. This new deck has the Kreg screws that are seated on the edges rather than through the decking, both screw and edge holding should insure there is no need to reseat regurlarly.
I bought the Kreg deck system because I have had such good luck with the Kreg pocket hole system.
