Torque is for headbolts, woodscrews, not so much.

Well, the maroon pads are the ones the guys used on the job for polishing the contacts in high voltage breakers (138 KV and 345 KV). We got them locally from an industrial supply house that had a good supply of all kinds of "stuff" that was otherwise hard to find. I have a good supply of them from that source but a google search turned up several sources such as this one;
