Kreg Owners' Community

I've decided to get back into woodworking and dug out my old Kreg K2 jig. It's definitely a K2, not a K2000, being made of cast aluminum.

I can't find a user manual anywhere.

The drill guides need to be raised up considerably to properly place the screws in "2-by" stock but either there wasn't any spacer included or I've lost it. I want to use 1.5" board to build my workbench.

Can anyone help?

WW

PS: Someone posted a user manual on another thread, saying it was for a K2, but it was for a K2000, I think Kreg's first blue plastic pocket hole jig. Did Kreg even have a user manual for the K2?

Unfortunately, the K2 was designed to work exclusively with 3/4" material and we do not offer an extension for 1 1/2" material. Some customers have built their own; however, it is not recommended. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to Technical Support directly at 800-447-8638 or technicalsupport@kregtool.com

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
