HI All

Ben from Melbourne, Australia, here. I had a bunch of flat-crap furniture for the kids fall apart so bought a heap of Kreg gear to build it properly with birch ply. Some cupboards, a wardrobe, wall shelves and custom Lego storage bed so far. Super easy, fast and strong. My only gripe is the 90 degree clamps wont go into my preferred micro holes. I would also like proper Kreg 19mm screws in coarse thread and also in 28mm (1 1/8), luckily Robertson screws have a suitable 28mm square drive pan head. Apart from that, it has been great. Aussie Kreg distributor is a bit lacking in range and stock as well so have been buying on Amazon and getting most of it shipped.

hi, you can call me Pappa, i'm retired from the construction industry. i'm doing woodworking as a hobby lately and i love the kreg system. i have just about all of the kreg products. love using them for the furniture i build.

Hi! My name is Kelly and I live in the Philadelphia are. I recently purchased a new home and am currently working on building a dining room table with my dad using the Kreg Jig. Really excited to continue with more projects using this tool! Good luck to all with current and future projects.

Hello, my name is Dave and I'm from Michigan. I've been working with wood on and off since I was a young child. My father owned a hand-made furniture shop when I was young and the smell of fresh cut wood and stain kinda stuck with me. I was medically retired out of the Army after 17 years last July, so I decided to get the wood shop set back up and work on making stuff for the house. Researching new types of tools and methods have came so far since I was young. Table saw sled, pocket hole jigs etc are amazing, and seems that it speeds up on the time it takes on a project. Much of the work I've seen on this site is amazing and hope to learn much more from everyone. Thank you for allowing me to join your group.
Hi ya'll my name is Kirby. I'm live in Orange, Tx which is about 3 miles from Louisiana. My story is similar to many of you. I am recently retired and have returned to wood working after many years. I recently completed a coffee table and 2 end tables for the daughter. That is when I discovered the Kreg pocket tool! I can't live without them now. They are truly an amazing set of tools. I look forward to seeing many new ideas in this discussion group to give me ideas for future projects. Also keep the tips coming.
Steve here retired USAF & retired Firefighter. In process of setting up shop in my Garage. Purchased Pocket Jig K-4 kit last week. 1st project is making stand for my Router Table so that the work surface is same height as Radial Arm table so both work areas can share support each other.

Thank you for your service, Steve.

Hey Yall,
Terry here, from around Daytona I'm 64 years old and have been in remodeling and new construction pretty much all my life ...My Grandpa and uncles were all in the trades and I was probably at least 15 years old before I figured out my name wasn't "Tote Wood"....I've built a lot of different things over the years ...but the kreg pocket hole system makes a lot of those things a LOT easier....I just built a jewelry box from rough sawn black walnut with some wooden gears that when turned with a skeleton key (I made out of heart pine) opened up a shutter type compartment to reveal an engagement ring ...she said yes at the time ...but since I won't let her 21 to 28 year old boys (3 total) move in with us ....it looks doubtful at this point .......guess I'll have to find someone a little more engaging huh? oh well that's more info than you need but I'm a good craftsman and PROUD of it ...have a GREAT DAY !

Woodworking has been picked up through the years I'm retired steel maker and finally getting around to building a shop.! I've built it in such a way to be able to have to fall back on if need be by adding a nice wood burner and be able to also cook on it which will be used for that all the time in the winter. Getting close finishing up on the Dust Collection. I must mention the rockers which will be built by an Amish friend custom fit in front that fire.So happy woodworking and a Blessed Thanksgiving !
