Welcome & good luck to Dino & Richard. I hope you keep us updated with your projects.

Hi everyone, Vaughn here from Johannesburg, South Africa.

I've always been a DIY type of person and I've found a new interest in making things from wood.  specially functional pieces, like furniture.  I'm also interested in mixing beautiful wood products with tech, like portable (battery powered) speakers, and amplifiers, etc.  I also love the idea of repurpose/reclaim/upcycle etc - so I'm always looking out for new ways to use old items.

Just got my first Kreg tool (R3 and 3" face clamp) and I'm planning on making my first piece shortly.  I'm going to build the farmhouse dining room table, and I've already sourced the wood for the top.  Reclaimed floors from an old building in downtown JHB are being sold locally for R150/meter; which is just more than an american dollar per meter.  its oregan pine with the following dimensions - 65mm*210mm.  I reckon its going to look fantastic.

Can't wait!

Ciao

Hi Everyone, My name is Nat, I reside in S/W Florida, from N.H. originally.I have always LOVED working with wood. I at first had my doubts about the Kreg Systems, and tools. But after only a couple of application,,I'm sold! You notice the quality of the product straight out of packaging. From there on in it just out preforms continuously.

I look forward to sharing Kreg Projects,as well as RV repair, and remodeling projects (w/Kreg Tools)

Howdy from Columbia, Missouri. My name is Jim and I'm just starting to get back into woodworking after too many years away from it. I bought the R3 jig and will be using it to construct some toy boxes for the great grandkids.

Kiora from Hamilton, New Zealand. I have been a woodworker since I was about three years old. That's when I got my first carpenters apron and toolkit. I have an extremely varied trades background as a carpenter and love working with timber, building boats, houses, sheds, furniture and other bits and pieces. I like good gear and saw the Kreg brand as a must have.

My name is Richard I'm from Humble TX, its pronounced "umble". I have finally retired and now I have an opportunity to pursue my life long passion for woodworking to which I have very little experience. Throughout the years I have purchased some woodworking tools and hope to use them as soon as possible. I just finished making a Halloween coffin which will not stand up to close scrutiny but my grandkids love it.

Hello, my name is Anthony and I’m new to the wood working thing I live in the hills of WV. Not completely I’m a carpenter but this is a new aspect to carpentry that I have not really thought to much of. But seeing how I’m recently disabled and unable to work I think a wood working hobby would do me some good, and keep me busy. I would love to be able to make some cool stuff like a smoker to smoke meats and such. Hope to get some help and advice along the way.

Hi my name is Ed McElroy I live in Connecticut, beautiful this time of year.Strange weather this year it's November and it's been in the 70's for almost a week now. I've done some basic carpentry over the years (decks, remodels etc.) always wanted to do woodworking as a hobby,I'm in my 50's now so relaxing in my shed is a "Good Time" . My girl bought me this tool for Christmas and to be honest I never heard of it before. Never could have done this work as well without my Kreg tools and I plan on getting more for Christmas this year. Glad to be part of the Kreg community. I spend more time outside or in my shed than on the computer but I will be checking this site regularly. I am trying to find plans for a counter high (off the ground) garden bed . Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
