Hi I'm Mike Retired FDNY working with wood most of my life.

Just getting started with pocket hole joins.

looking to build great projects for my beach house and deck.

Hi, I'm Mike, a retired cop and now community college instructor of psychology and criminal justice in North Louisiana. I've been wood working since I was eight in the cub scouts. I just bought a new (1899 Victorian) home and have enough room to set up a furniture building shop in the back. I also plan to create plans for people with a Victorian home so they can build period pieces and gingerbread trim, fencing and more. I'm looking forward to meeting others on here.

Hi

I am a retired Fire Marshal the PD arm of FDNY my beach house was built in 1920's so I'm redoing the front deck and walk way.

MIke? Mike. Nice to meet you. Looks like we're doing the same projects. My house is an 1899 Victorian updayed in the 20's. Lots of fun and headaches. I'm a retired cop but for a few years I faced the dragon with Nevada Dept of Forestry at a rural station. We handled structure fires et al in addition to forest fires. Look forward to seeing what you did on the house. Mike

Hi, my name is James, (but everyone can call me "J"), I live here in honolulu, HI

My wife and I are hardcore DIYers. We just finished remodeling our kitchen.
Hoping to meet others on here to share knowledge and experiences.

Hi, my name is Myron and I live in SE Georgia near the coast. I dabbled in woodworking all of my life since high school wood shop but not until I retired in 2006 did I really have time and space to build and fully equip my own shop. I've used my kreg jig for some time now and love it. I look forward to sharing further learning experiences with others.

Hi James welcome to the newbies group.

Hi, my name is Andy and live in Va.I am a master carpenter with 35 yrs experience building houses, decks, etc. I also build some furniture and cabinets on occasion. Don't have a fancy shop but still manage using basic tools plus some Kreg jigs and clamps. Latest job was shelves over cabinets. Used almost 150 kreg screws!

Hello, my name is Tony and I live in Nantwich, England. Like a number of other members I have been interested in woodworking for many years when time was available. Now I have retired I am starting to do a bit more when I can fight my way into the garage. Recently bought the K5 and just bought the HD set up as I have a suspended ceiling to install. Look forward to hearing from other more experienced people who have been there and done it

Gary, Hey neighbor! You're going to love it once you get used to using it. It saves hours off of building projects and they're stronger than traditional joinery, especially when used with Gorilla Glue.

Hello, My name is Gary and I live in East TX. I have been doing woodwork off and on over the years and have decided it is time to get back into it. I have not done much pocket hole joinery, always found it to difficult. Only recently purchased the Kreg Jig and ready to get started with it.

Mike,

What's the advantage of Gorilla Glue vs Titebond???
