Kreg Owners' Community

I lost my case for my R3 which unfortunately has the slot for the drill bit and corresponding material width marks for the drill bit stop. So I was wondering if anyone could tell me the measurements for the drill stop for each thickness of material from either the end of the bit or the step on the bit. Either is fine just specify so I know where to measure from. Even the back would work as long as I know where to start measuring from. Thanks! Also is the front of the drill bit stop supposed to line up with the line? Or the back of the drill bit stop? Thanks in advance for any answers and help! This is my first kreg jig and first post! Makes life so much easier! Although I'm awful at "eyeballing" where to put the drill bit stop so this has become a real problem for me. Also I specified the r3 because that's what I have and Im not sure whether each model has different drill stop marks. If anyone knows this to be false and that they are all the same that would drastically open up the number of people who could help me so please post if you know the answer to this. Say you have 2 different models and you could check and see that both models have the exact same drill bit stop positions for each thickeness. Anyways thanks again and sorry if this is WAYYYY to long! I wanted to be as detailed as possible in explaining my situation and corresponding problem to allow for the most exact answer possible for my needs. If this has already been asked and answered again I apologize. I searched all day yesterday and couldn't find anything. I even tried putting a picture of the drill bit stop guide into Microsoft word and scaling it properly and printing it out so I could measure that way. Needless to say since I'm here asking this question. That failed. Miserably might I add lol.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
