Kreg Owners' Community

I just bought a Square-Cut jig and found that the smallest the adjustable arm would adjust to was about an inch which is to long for my Robi 5 1/2 battery operated saw.

I read where one fellow made a hard wood adjustable arm that solved this problem But after looking closely at the back I felt I could remove a small portion of the groove on the main body to allow the arm to be slid in and fit my saw.

After scoreing the part to be removed I used a flat hobby saw and removed enought to allow the arm to be slid further into the main body.

I also had to length the hold down slide goove using a drill press and a dremel tool.

after following the directions I now have a jig that can be used with all my saws.

I believe Kreg should modify the main body to allow the arm to slid in flush with the main body.

Sorry the Square-Cut did not work out for you, Larry. It's designed to work with most circular/jig saws, but obviously yours is in the minority! I will pass this request on to our Design team to see if it makes sense to change! Thank you sincerely for bringing this to our attention!
After the minor change the square cut works fine.
thanks for listening
I just wanted to pass along what I had to do to add to a great tool

I had to do the same thing, the guide arm was too short by 3/4"-I use a 5/16" drill bit and an exacto knife to lengthen the groove.

My circular saw is a Milwaukee.

I am having trouble too, just bought it and I have a ryobi 18v cordless circular saw.  The arm extends too far out and will not calibrate too my blade specifications.  Anyone with this problem can give me a step by step guide on how you solved it?

Thanks so much

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
