Ken;

I Have noticed no one has replied Kreg does offer a Rip Guide as one of there products, but they do not offer a track saw as one of there current products. You would have to ask the |Kreg Rep about new products.

Jeff,

I contacted Kreg Tools, many moons ago.

A track saw is not on their priority list.

There's about 3-4 different companies that offer track saws, on today's market.

Based on my reviews of the various ones on today's market, Festool is my #1 choice.

Bosch has plans in the works to bring their German made version to the USA.

From the info I've acquired, it's a great system; however, I've not tested it.

A track saw base is guided in a track that keeps the saw and blade in-place, doesn't veer off, and makes a zero-clearance cut.

I have an alternate version, that presently works fine for my needs.

The Kreg rip cut guide is a nice idea, but one often gets saw marks on the cut edge, that has to be finished.
Many users have difficulty with it, especially at the end of the cut.

For my uses, I can't have the long arm sticking out, which is subject to getting damaged during handling and storage.

The rip cut guide requires the saw to be bolted in place, and unbolted using tools, to separate it from the guide.

At the completion of the cut, I need to remove the saw from the track---by lifting it up and away.

Ken;

I own the Dewalt Track Saw system it meets my needs my budget would not let me purchase the Festool at the time.

Jeff,

What are your "likes" and "dislikes" with the DeWalt system?

Hope this helps;

Dislikes

A very short time after buying the system I went to buy some accessories that they had listed such as track joiners to they told me they where no longer available, was not impressed I end up making my own version.

I found the right angle attachment does not cut at 90 degrees .

And the cut will leave splinters even though there is a splinter guard.

It does not come with a dust bag made my own adaptation.

Likes

Great for cutting 4 by 8 sheets down to size.

Very portable use it on a lot of job sites for custom builds easier than taking portable table saw.

I use it with a long plastic table and a piece of Styrofoam this way the panel is support on both sides of the cut I just set it so the blade cuts a shallow blade cut into the Styrofoam.

If I had it to do it again I would probably safe a little longer and buy the Festool
