Kreg Owners' Community

I have clamps, I mean a lot of clamps and I built a really nice functional clamp cart for my Bessey's and my wooden clamps and my spring clamps, etc. However I can't seem to find any good ideas for neatly organizing and storing all my Kreg Clamps.

As you know these clams are unique and have unique angles and they just don't want to store nicely with other clamps. If you hang them on a moving cart they look like they will jump off with the first bump you hit.

Currently I have the following models and probably 2-3 of each.

  • Face frame clamps
  • Right Angle Clamp
  • Bench Clamps
  • 90 Degree Corner Clamps
  • Automaxx Bench Clamps

I have searched the WWW for photos and ideas and so far have no luck.

If any of you have ideas or solutions please post so I can figure out a better way to store these other than to have them heaped up in a drawer or on the work bench. I am fairly confident that I am not the only person with this problem

Joe , I use peg board and long hook,s  to hang all my clamps , also have a set of pipe clamp,s  , up to six feet long , hope this helps , Jim !!

Thanks, The double or two pronged hooks may be helpful. It gets me thinking. I like to have all my clamps on a cart so when I begin assembly I can rolle the cart over to my assembly area and have everything handy. In the past the kreg clamps would wobble and dangle and pop off if I hit a bump. A wider holder may be the answer.

Now if I can figure out something for the right angle clamps and the corner clamps they are a bit awkward.

In a small shop, and where space is limited,

clamps can be stored in a suitable size RubberMaid Roughneck container, with lid---available in various sizes.

Smaller clamps in a smaller size, and larger clamps in a larger container.

Label the end of the container with it's applicable contents.

(black perm marker pen on 1" wide tape---easy to remove and update, as needed).

When not in use the containers can be stacked, and the stacked containers can be fitted onto a dolly, for mobility.

Also, quite suitable for toting to-and-from a job-site.

Works for me.

Welcome Joe ,  corner  clamp,s bottom right  side of pic.  use double pronged  hook,s and a rubber band to keep them in place  !!    Top left of pic.  Kreg clamp,s  on double  hook,s  , work,s good !!  And maybe for auto max bench clamp,s , a short  section of t track  to hold them  on your cart !!  Would like to see a pic. of your cart if you do not mind , always open to new Ideas  !!    All my clamps  are right next to my four foot  glue up  and  clamp table !!! Have a good day , JIM !!
