Help: Setting up cursor on Router Table Stop

Hi Folks,

I am setting up my Beaded Face Frame system and I can't figure out how to set the cursor on the router stop. The instructions do not say how to do it. What point of reference do I use?

The instructions for this application are listed on page 8 of the instruction manual for the Beaded Face Frame System.  Basically you will put the 1/2" dowel pin in your router.  Then set the cursor at the 1/4" mark and slide your fence over until the stop just touches the pin.  This will calibrate the fence along with the stop.  If you have any other questions please let us know.

My issue was how to set the cursor on the stop itself. The plastic cursor can slide in and out. I figured it out by trial and error but the instructions do not say how to adjust the lens cursor on the stop.

Ryan,

Since you are setting the fence based on the position of the cursor on the tape it would not matter where this was placed as long as it was not moved once calibrated.  This is the reason that it is not covered in the manual.  I'm glad to hear that you were able to get it to work and if you need any other assistance please let us know.
