"Ryan, Since you are setting the fence based on the position of the cursor on the tape it would not matter where this was placed as long as it was not moved once calibrated.  This is the reason that it is not covered in the manual. …"

"My issue was how to set the cursor on the stop itself. The plastic cursor can slide in and out. I figured it out by trial and error but the instructions do not say how to adjust the lens cursor on the stop. Thanks! -RM"
