Is there a source for a Kreg clamp that fits the smaller Micro Jig pocket holes?

Thanks Robert. Dowels are a great idea.
The problem with dowels is that the micro jig hole is 19/64" in diameter. I don't know of any place to get dowels that size. I've used 5/16" dowels but they fit a little bit too snug. You have to tap them in with a hammer.

I don't think so yet. But you can use dowels the same diameter.
I'll have to try that.

But I am wondering if Kreg is ever going to make the plugs.

If you Drill a 19/64 hole in a piece of metal then put the 5/16 dowel in your drill and spin it through the hole you drilled it will then be the correct size. This method woks good for making dowels round cause most come oval shaped.
1st of November Micro-Pocket Plugs will be released to dealers!

Hey Chuck,

Dowels would make it a lot easier, but I cut face grain plugs. I have been tempted to use dowels, but I have just not been willing to make the change.

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
