Question re. Kreg Plans here on this site....

Hey gang

 

new KREG user, and I love my new toy! Question re. the "Download KREG project plans" link on this site...It reads as if these plans are only available if you purchased your KREG from them specifically. I actually purchsed my KREG Jr. from Rockler so is it a matter of simply opening an account with KREG or am I sol.

You do not have to order you jig from them, they just recently started selling the jigs themselves, 99.99% of the people on this site bought them from somewhere else. I don't think you even have to own a jig yet to sign up to use the plans. I first purchased the Kreg Jr. from Rockler, then the Kreg 3 from Amazon.com, then purchased another Kreg Jr. from Amazon,com after I gave my Jr. to my son because I liked the portability of the Jr. Never have bought anything from them. As a matter of fact, you can get it cheaper from Amazon, because you don't have to pay shipping.
