I'm new to this community and have gotten great advice already. I have a new question for all. I have watched the videos of the router table from Kreg and they discuss that it can be used a joiner to. They briefly show the rubber strips to use; however, they don't actually demonstrate how its used.
I would love to know so that I don't have to go out and buy one. Can anyone direct me to a website that may show this in action? Or has someone in the community already demonstrated how to here?
Thanks again,
Nick

If you're ''new'' to routers, I'd suggest obtaining some books on ''routers''.
Become familiar with routers before getting into table routing.
One book I recommend to my students, is ''Routers---The Missing Shop Manual''.
The tool information you need at your fingertips.

Ken, thank you so much for the websites. The aol site was the best one for me. Now I understand how to use the black plastic inserts on my Kreg router table. Now I can use it also on 3/4 inch plywood that needs a straight edge. Not long pieces though.
I have so many projects I want to do and glad I found this Community for Kreg users.

Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing. How effective is it? It's adaptable to any router table. Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
