A place for reviews

I have seen other forums with a category for product reviews and think this would be a great idea for our community. With all the talented members this would be a real asset. There are always new tools and accessories on the market. This would help the members save time and money by helping us make a decision on a purchase. Having the opinions from the members on the review  would give an all around view.  Thanks Will

Great idea.  One idea we're experimenting with is switching over the old 'blog' section to a new 'product reviews' section.  

 

The old blog section which was removed about a month ago was taken down because it was underutilized and more frequently than not confused with 'forums'... resulting in members using them to simply ask a question, etc. instead of a regular 'web journal' of their woodworking lives.  

 

I'd be interested in hearing whether or not you and the other members think re-introducing the blog section as a new 'product review section would be a good idea.

 I looked at the product review section on the headliner and notice there were only a few true reviews. I think it would be a good idea for it to be placed in the forum section under the category's . Having a rating system shown in stars with a pros and cons section in the format would make it easy for members to post with there description.
