Introducing the Kreg Universal Bench.
The easy, affordable way to create your own custom workbench!
Any Space. Any Task. Any Size.
The all-new Kreg Universal Bench system reinvents the workbench by making it easy for you to create a custom heavy-duty workbench, assembly table, tool stand, or outfeed table in a size that you choose to fit your space, your projects, and your needs.
That’s because the Universal Bench isn’t just another workbench. It’s a system of rails and adjustable-height legs, both made from thick, durable steel, that are available in multiple sizes. By combining legs and rails, you can create a bench in 15 possible square or rectangular sizes—from 14"x14" up to 64"x64"—and two different heights.
YOU choose the bench height!
Sturdy 12-gauge steel legs in two sizes (29"- 35" Tall & 15¼"- 21¼" Tall) offer 6" of unlimited height adjustability, so you choose the exact bench height you want.
YOU choose the width and depth!
Steel rails in 5 lengths let you create a bench in one of 15 possible sizes to fit your space and your projects!
YOU make your bench your own!
To complete your Universal Bench, add a bench top made from the material you choose using predrilled mounting holes. Extra holes allow you to mount a shelf, storage, and other accessories to further customize your bench.
Kreg Universal Bench system Features:
2 Sizes of Adjustable-Height Legs:

There's some pricing information in one of my earlier replies. Rails start at $20.99 for a set of 14" rails (4 rails in a set) to $77.99 for a 64" set. Leg sets start at $59.99. You'll need 2 sets of rails, 1 set of legs.,,,,,/strong>

Ken,
Thanks. I thought I had the whole thread on my screen, and then saw the page buttons. Oops. Thanks for repeating it.
Kreg Rep,
Can you move the bottom rails to the lower holes and still have the wheels mounted?
What was the answer? Is this product made here or not?

Made in CHINA?
Norman,
Go back a few pages. The official answer is that it is made in Taiwan.
Sorry I missed he question about the lower rails, Tim. the lower rails just have one mounting location. that's necessary so that they'll clear the adjustment blocks that allow you to vary the bench height.
The upper rails have two mounting locations: at the top of the leg and 4" down.
Let me know if you're after pricing for a specific size. These will be available after January 1, so all the pricing will be live on kregtool.com.

IT'S MADE IN TAIWAN. I'm really glad other Americans are asking about this. I'm sure that any sane American would consider KREG to be a great American company, as a great many of their products are made by industrious Hawkeyes. Shout out to those Hawkeyes...I hope KREG is taking care of you! I just have a hard time wrapping my head around KREG going to TAIWAN to make this bench. Is it really all about bean counting? What about the degredation and corrosion of the American way of life? Looking at the long term, is it possible KREG is eroding its' own foundation? One consumer's opinion is YES! ABSOLUTELY! God Bless and Happy New Year!
Hi Sierra Whisky, i totally understand where your coming from and i am a BRIT.But unfortuneately thats the way the world is going. If a product can be made cheaper elsewhere to increase the profit its going to happen i am afraid.Thats why chinas economy booming, and we in the west are losing jobs.My best buddy works for a well known fishing tackle company here in the Uk all there kit made in Mauritus. Its then shipped back and still cheaper.Go steady.
I purchased my most recent jig saw---
A Bosch model 1591EVSL---(I prefer the barrel grip)---
made in Switzerland/Germany.
Cost more?--- Yes!!!
I chose this model, because of the Engineering and Craftsmanship.
A precision cutting machine.
It's capable of cutting a 4x4 at 90 degrees!!!
It features roller guides, akin to a band-saw.
An awesome cutting machine.

Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing. How effective is it? It's adaptable to any router table. Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
