Introducing the Kreg Universal Bench.

The easy, affordable way to create your own custom workbench!

Any Space. Any Task. Any Size.

The all-new Kreg Universal Bench system reinvents the workbench by making it easy for you to create a custom heavy-duty workbench, assembly table, tool stand, or outfeed table in a size that you choose to fit your space, your projects, and your needs.

That’s because the Universal Bench isn’t just another workbench. It’s a system of rails and adjustable-height legs, both made from thick, durable steel, that are available in multiple sizes. By combining legs and rails, you can create a bench in 15 possible square or rectangular sizes—from 14"x14" up to 64"x64"—and two different heights.

YOU choose the bench height!

Sturdy 12-gauge steel legs in two sizes (29"- 35" Tall & 15¼"- 21¼" Tall) offer 6" of unlimited height adjustability, so you choose the exact bench height you want.

YOU choose the width and depth!

Steel rails in 5 lengths let you create a bench in one of 15 possible sizes to fit your space and your projects!

YOU make your bench your own!

To complete your Universal Bench, add a bench top made from the material you choose using predrilled mounting holes. Extra holes allow you to mount a shelf, storage, and other accessories to further customize your bench.

Kreg Universal Bench system Features:

2 Sizes of Adjustable-Height Legs:

  • 29"-35" Tall
  • 15¼"-21¼" Tall
  • Made from 12-gauge (1/8"-thick) steel
  • Both sizes feature 6” of height adjustment with no stops or presets, letting you set the exact height you need
  • Built-In leg levelers accommodate uneven or sloping floors
  • Predrilled mounting holes for rails, other accessories
  • Accept optional 3” dual-locking casters for easy mobility

5 Rail lengths:

  • Rails are available in 14", 20", 28", 44", & 64" lengths
  • Rails combine to make 15 bench sizes (14"x14" to 64"x64")
  • Made from 14-gauge steel
  • Predrilled holes for mounting bench top and shelves

Other Features:

  • Premium finish in Kreg Blue looks great and lasts
  • High-quality hardware included for simple, solid assembly
  • Supports up to 600 pounds
  • Bench top can be made from your choice of materials—not included with bench

Justin,

re ''too flimsy''...

perhaps you've experienced the light duty frames, often seen at some big box stores.

Most of those ''flimsy'' frames, are made from 20ga (.035''), or less, thick metal---

akin to the ''erector set'' construction.

A wood worker that doesn't want to build their own bench might want to look into another hobby. Just saying.......can't blame them for trying to make money though.

Im with you there but they would make a good build table.

I was trying to say the cheapness is usually in the drawers as opposed to the frames.. I'm sensitive (maybe too sensitive) to cheap slides - flimsy or non-smooth - and thin metal drawers that don't feel like they could hold a socket set.

I agree!  I'm really happy with the Workbench I made with the Kreg plans.  It was really easy and the thing is rock solid.

Yeah they would. They look like cool tables, I'm guessing that they won't be cheap either.

Where is this made?

Justin,

How does one deduce, just my looking at the photo of the benches, that they have

cheap slides - flimsy or non-smooth - and thin metal drawers  ???

Hm? I did not say Kreg had cheap slides. My first post was a question to Kreg where I asked if they were going to offer drawers or cabinets as accessories (as shown in the photo). The Kreg Rep said that they weren't going to sell any cabinets or drawers. He mentioned, however, that plans for drawers/cabinets come with the product. Then I mentioned, conversationally, that the drawers and cabinets are where most benches fall short in my opinion (it's where most manufactures cheap out). It's then that you thought I was saying the Kreg bench itself looked flimsy, but I did not, so I tried to clear that up. Now you're thinking I'm saying the Kreg bench has flimsy slides. Again, I'm not, because I already know they have no slides at all. It's the opposite, as I'm wishing Kreg would offer drawers & cabinets as accessories (strong & nice are presumed from Kreg products).

Nice bench, but any "jack knife" carpenter or wood worker worth their "salt" should be building their own bench.  You could always paint it blue, sorry I don't know where you could get the "Kreg" sticker to put on it.  It is pretty though.

Justin,

The subject matter describes the "Kreg bench'' & ''frames''.

Some may get confused with reference made to ''cheap slides...flimsy...thin metal drawers''...

Just wondering if they're going to have bench tops, with dog holes?

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
