recently I been working with my Kreg jig K3 and I realize long pieces was dificult to support, I had my bench cookies from bench dog tools close to the jig and i realize the height of the cookie is the same that the jig. so this is a very good choice to support the long pieces.

I dont know I still use the old way but it is a good Idel for thsos who are this starting out.

Hi Juan, I was just playing around in my shop and tried this out, what a great idea, it's the simplest things that are some of the easiest cures to a problem. Thanks for sharing

 

Good tip - Thanks. I usually have a bunch of scrap around that I've been using. Biggest output seems to be scrap but that idea is great. No more digging around:)
