??DIY Dressers??

 Hello,

I'm thinking about making a dresser for my daughter's room, but am not a cabinet maker. My first attempt at making drawers was quite frustrating and grueling. It was not until yesterday I saw the Kreg drawer mounting systems. Have any of you used this before, how much easier does it make it? Seeing this product gave me new hope. Plus any feedback or tips would be helpful.

I always dress myself.   lol

You can do a search in the box at the top-right for "cabinet" and you should see discussions about cabinet's along with some images.

There are some really experienced cabinet makers on here who can definately help you.

Hi Tom - The Kreg drawer mounting system is just for installing the drawer slides, no help at all in building the drawers. A drawer  is basically just a box, a cabinet is just a collection of boxes within a larger box. I see many dressers that do not even use slides, instead the drawer box just slides on rails built into the cabinet.
