Hello,

My name is Scott and I live in San Jose, CA.  Took a few wood working classes 20+ years ago in highschool but haven't had much of an opportunity to work with wood until recently. Been taking it slow and just completed my first big project and am already thinking about the next one.  Got the Kreg Jig and am having a blast figuring out different ways to use it.

Welcome to the Kreg community guys, The Kreg jig has brought joy and made it possible for many people  to enjoy wood working, as you have found out,    I look forward to seeing some pics of your work.

Hello All

New to the Kreg Jig Community. Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Michael and  I  just purchased the Master Kreg jig kit and received it at my home today. I have already watched the introduction video and I am very excited to give it a try . Looking forward to making a few cool things for outside and around my home  and chatting with some of you.  Sharing some projects and project ideas. I am a avid golfer as well and I have a idea on making a planter box with a golfers theme and placing it outside next to my putting green. Well thank you all for allowing me some time to ramble a bit I hope to meet some great people here. Happy Kreg Jigging to all . Michael

Mike M,

Next, get the Kreg deck jig kit---

use it to build an elevated deck, for ''teeing off''---

an old golf bag for a flower pot---

a planter box to store your golf balls---

a folding table to hold your ice tea---

a couple of adirondack chairs for your guests---

a wood deck at ground level for your golf cart,

just to name a few.

I'm near completion of a ''back yard green'', for putting and pitching.

Completed my archery range,  last year---grand kids love it.

Hello James,

On behalf of all the Kreg Members, welcome to the Kreg Community.

You will find there is all sorts of info/stuff held within  that will keep you fully entertained for quite some time.

And with your experience we all will be looking forward to some of your creations.

I personally would like to see some of  your wooden buckets and tubs, as my attempts at coopering led me to cry for help from fellow Kreg members.

Regards

Robert Brennan

James,

You came to the right place.

Hello Everyone, My name is Everly from Central West Virginia. I have been doing woodworking off and on for many years. I started using Kreg tools a couple of years ago. I like how easy they are & the strong joints that you get. Quick and easy.....saves a lot of time. I just acquired the Deck Jig, but haven't used it yet. Have to build a deck on cabin in the mountains. Am looking forward to the HD when it comes out. I joined here to help those that need it and to learn a few things from others. If anybody needs any help, let me know !! Have a Great Woodworking day !!

Another newbie here!  My name is Wade and I live in southern MN.  My jig is a recent purchase and I have only used it on a solar oven project.

I am by no means a carpenter but enjoy small projects from time to time.

Hello Jim, I have helped a friend of mine build a log cabin in Upstate New York...........where are you located ?
