I ordered mine yesterday from Factory Authorized Outlet/Kreg with free shipping for orders $25 and over. Scheduled to be shipped on April 12th so I hope that holds true as I'm anxious to try this item.

Exactly my question also. Have you gotten a responce from Kreg? I'm a big Kreg fan (user). I like the concept but starting could be a problem. Hope they give a response.

My rip cut jig arrived today. I was a bit concerned with the videos as they all showed this using a 7 1/4 " electric saw and that's something I almost never use anymore since I got the cordless 5 1/2" a while back. I was glad to find I can use the smaller one on this. Both assembly and calibration was easy. I don't have anything large to work with at this time so made a few one inch cuts on a small piece of scrap and they were all dead on. This is obviously made for larger pieces as it would be impossible to work around clamps because the guide rail hits them. I laid a couple router pads on the sawhorses for practice pieces to keep from shifting. Starting the cut seemed easier than finishing but maybe that's just me and will improve with practice. Once you have this jig set up for the saw you will be using taking it off an putting back on is a breeze. I may partially drill a couple holes in the saw base where the points of the two set screws go. I don't know why they have these so pointed. This is in no way a complete review as i just messed with it for about an hour.....but it seems to be something I may use when the need arises. Although I have a pretty good set up with the straight edge now. Just another addition to the shop that may or may not be used all that much but is there if needed.

I forgot to mention one thing in my post on receiving the Rip-Cut jig today. It was a welcome surprise to see this was "Made in the USA"!  We see that far too seldom with tools now a days.

hi just writing to whom it may have a answer to the? WONDERING WHY WHEN I CONTACT WOOD CRAFT  on line

ordering for the new rip cut they charge more then  kreg site for the same thing what i saw was 34.99 and for shelf pin was 34.99 and when i go to wood craft they were willing to sell me same thing for 36.41 for rip cut and another 36.41 for shelf pin jig wow am canadien  not dumb so why do they try to jack up prices like that when our dollar is worth as much i ordered other stuff from the usa on line and they dont charge more to canadiens then  what is said that was the price plus shipping and handling besides taxes and border free so what cost 69.98 for me would cost more like over 112. to get the same thing why jack up prices like that not fair to deal with these people that try to take advantage gee can anyone from kreg  has a reply would like to know if possible please and why do canadien on line  like lee valleys dont have new  items above yet thank you or busy bee tools

Hi Ron - Not really sure. It sounds about right for what banks charge for "international money transfer" fees. I bought my anti-virus from AVG which I didn't realize was a UK company and got nailed with one. Usually a percentage of the amount transfered. Some companies may just absorb it and some may pass it on to the customer. Option would be to wait until it is available from a Canadian company.
As far as why certain companies do or don't have any given product, I doubt anyone here can answer that.... that's pretty much up to an individual company which products they carry and feel they have an adequate market for.
