I am designing a wall cabinet to put over my washer and dryer.  I am working on maximizing the wood usage and minimize the wood purchased.

Current dimensions are:
52" wide
30" high
16" deep

Wood shopping list:
1 sheet of 3/4" ply
4 1"x3"x8' boards

I hope to be building this soon and put the plans up here.

Hey, what about a cabinet under washer and dryer? I have the front loading type and the cabinets to mount them on are really expensive. Do you think it would be hard to build with a drawer in each? Mike
If I were to build one, I would likely use 2x4s for the frame and skin it with ply and add some drawers. It shouldn't be too bad though.
I built one for our front load washer. I over killed it, 4x4 for corners and bolted on 2x6's. Skinned with 3/4 plywood. It is one heavy base as that is what I wanted to make sure the washer did not shake at all. It works well and had no problems with it...
This will be a great storage application project... all storage projects are popular, it seems we all have so much stuff and just need an affordable storage solution to come to the rescue! Hopefully the Kreg Jig works perfectly in this application! Looking forward to photos if you take any!
