When cutting in the right hand position that is with the long piece to my left and the piece I'm removing on my right, I put the blue guide bar on the pencil mark. Now my blade is going to remove it's thickness from the piece I want.
So fo you just always add the kerf to my measurement or what?
I want to measure, mark and cut.
Maybe Im missing something???? I thunk the heat is messing with my head

No should be right on its setup to inside of te blade. The lightfoot video is the good demo of setup on kreg  videos.
If I understand you correctly, you are right. You want the finished length falling off to the right so you would need to add the kerf to your measurement then align the jig to that mark.
That's what I thought. Thanks for confirming that. I'm just starting out and am just learning.

Well I finally got my kreg circular saw guide out and set it up per the new video which works well. Well my first cut I made for accuarcy was 3.5 inches. Well in this case I was off by 1/8 using the origanal blade that came on the saw which has a 1\8 kerf. Then as you said I wraped my brain around the problem. Yes if you measured from left to right the read is correct. In my case the only way to use the saw guide to cut the 3.5 inch piece is to measure right to left. So if you have a righthand saw your measurement is correct if you are measurfing left to right and kerf width off if measuring right to left.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
