John,
I'm sure you're looking for unbiased input here, so I'll just post a link I stumbled upon today from an independent source. It's full of great actual-use info which I think you might appreciate. More reviews should be coming out in magazines real soon. Good luck in your decision!

Incredibly thorough review by woodshopdemos.com

I have used this site before for information and I have the sites pdf disk, which they offer for a small fee and it helps searching the sites wealth of information.
One question - did they buy the machine or was the machine provided by Kreg.

Thanks for your response.

John,
I don't know for sure where they got it from. I'm positive it didn't come from my office. Either way, I do know that we don't do any advertising on that site. Good luck with your decision, and if you need any other help or questions answered... you can ask them here or contact our customer service team! customerservice@kregtool.com

Good luck, and good woodworking!

wouldn't the lever action on this be useful on the standard fence as well? i could be off because I haven't actually built anything with a router table yet, but for short cuts, it seems like it would be easer for the material to stay in place, while the fence pushes it forward. I originally thought that you could use this beaded face frame system in this manner, but after looking at the pictures, i see that the fence wouldn't allow it because the bits would not clear the purpose-specific bit cutout.
Alan, I might be misunderstanding your question here... but I don't think this style lever would be useful on a traditional router table fence because the fence is stationary during use. Usually the fence is adjusted according to your needs and then locked into place before the routing takes place.
I have looked into this quite a bit. I am getting ready to start kitchen cabinets for my home, but I have an issue with the price. I love beaded faceframes, but $500 is a little high when I will more than likely only use it to do my cabinets. I need a bandsaw in my shop and I really weighed the decision based on that and which way I'd rather spend the $500. If my wife is deadset on the beaded frames I am stuck doing it the old fashioned way, making the beads myself and doing the miters.
Why don't we set up a rental service and pass it around for shipping and a small rental fee? I agree that the system is pricey and you are limited to insert doors which are more difficult for me. And now your wife will look real close at the miters so you better strive for perfection - no filler - LOL.

You're absolutely right!!! LOL!! I would love to have the system, don't get me wrong. I only plan on building these cabinets once so if I do the beads it's not such a big deal and let's face it, it's a lot more time I get to spend in the shop!
Thanks for the video - I am getting closer to buying one. BTW I am using the Kreg system for pocket holes more and more - why not and why clamp - I got the Klamping table and it is great. I also added a second Kreg router plate to my table saw extension. Still having problems getting the exact center of the plate for router mounting when using the template but so far it does not seem to effect anything. If I need to use a jig that requires centering of the bit exactly then I will have Kreg drill a plate at the factory.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
