Kreg Owners' Community

For my 4th project I made a bed from my daughter out of 2x6's for the legs and side rails. Does anyone know where I can purchase 4 bed rail brackets or is there a better idea of putting these rails to the legs together?

Go to your closest thrift shop and buy some old bed rails and take the brackets off of them...throw the rest away (or cut it up and use it in a project).  You'll save some money and help the local community.
I used the rockler non mortise bed rail hangers from Rockler and they are the best.
Thanks for the suggestions. I went and ordered the Surface Mounted Keyhole Bed Rail Brackets from Rockler. I will let ya'll know how these work. Johnny> awesome idea. Wish I would have thought about this first
It might be too late, John, but I 'kregged' a bed recently- 4 screws per rail and leg joint and it's pretty strong...

Looks like you have enough suggestions on your bed fastening problem. One more to add. . . try Lee Valley for this too. Ask for a catalogue and keep it on file.

By the way, nice frame! Great job.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
