router table cabinet plans

Would anyone be willing to share their router table cabinet plans if they have them?  I have my top done, I just need to do a cabinet.  Thanks!

Hi Artie - looks like a nice sized cabinet. Oughta keep you busy. Just a couple of things about the design I'd like to point out before you get started though.

I don't understand the purpose of the divider panel nor the cutout in the back. Seems like with the divider panel and the door closed your closing the router up in a pretty small box. What happens to the heat?  The box itself is pretty small to start with. You won't be able to get a very large router in a 13x15x9" space without taking the handles off or something.

In my opinion the plate opening is a bit skimpy also at 7-3/4 x10-1/4". Looks like they are planning on you making you own plate. Kreg, Incra, Woodpecker plates and most lifts are 9-1/4 x11-3/4", Rockler plates are 8-1/4x11-3/4" and MLCS and Rouseau (sp?) plates are 9x12".

Just a couple of things I wanted to point out before you got it all done and couldn't find a plate. Overall looks like a nice plan, just tweak it a bit.

Artie, that one is really close to the plan that I have, except the divider as John mentioned and the one I have also has drawers on the bottom that I like.  http://www.crestonwood.com/router.htm Check this out, this fellow built the "New Yankee" router table, towards the bottom is a cutting list etc. too, also, on YouTube the episode where Norm built the router table is there.  Thanks!!

Just to clarify . . . I'm not actually building that table. Someone earlier posted the link to those plans and said that they couldn't "right-click" to save the image. I'm just posting the image for their benefit.

Here is router table plan from Sommerfield tools. You can use it to get measurements and a cut list.

Also if you right click on the plans above and select copy and then go to MS Word and select paste you can have a copy which you can copy and save to your computer and also print out.

     That's a pretty cool top they sell!  I do like the cabinet too.  I did buy a fence core from peachtree. (www.ptreeusa.com) I will see how that works out.

there is an very detailed router table plan at www.plansnow.com that i downloaded but I'm bound by the agreement not to make them public - which is what would happen if I posted it here.
