Liam's Third Project - Telephone Stand

Liam’s third project is somewhat down-scaled in appearance , but his heart makes up the difference in Ace’s. An auction style fundraiser to benefit law enforcement officers was held in honor of those who have given the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Even though Liam had no money to donate he decided that he would offer what he did possess, which is his developing skill utilizing the Kreg Pockethole Jig. He chose to build a telephone stand… Continue

Liam's Second Kreg Project - A Four Foot Tall Medicine Cabinet

Liam's first attempt at case work has been developing nicely. He says that the Kreg jig is so easy to use, and it is. The beauty of this tool is the first time you use it, there is a perfect joint. Liam has inspired many of the neighbor kids as well, the local Lowes store loves the increased business of providing Kreg jigs to his friends and fellow students at the home schooling co-op that we attend.

One of Liam's teachers has placed an order for… Continue

Liam's First Project, a Craftsman Night Table

I have been using the Kreg jig and associated products for a couple years; awesome tool is all I can say. When my wife told me to take my son Liam to the shop to give him hands on experience with the importance of math; which he was trying to retreat from, I gave him a choice of projects to build. He decided to build a night table for his mother, more to win her heart I think than anything else.

Liam designed the table (rough sketch, no drafting… Continue

Michael,

Back when the Kreg Jig community was started, your first blog posts about Liam's projects were some of the best content we've had and really got us off to a great start.  Unfortunately, we learned over time that the majority of users weren't quite as good at figuring out blogs, how they worked, and how they were different than the forums.  As a result, we are looking to delete our blog section and replace it with a product review section.  Since your content is so great, I wanted to write you a special note to request that you copy/paste your great blog entries over into the forum section so that they're not deleted along with everything else in the coming week.  I really hope you can take a few minutes to do so as your Liam stories are really amazing.

Thanks,

KregRep

Liam – I just added your work to an album called “children’s furniture” which is unfair as you are making “adult” heirloom pieces. But I’ll take any excuse to show you off, I am so proud of you, your work and why you do it.
