Liam's Second Kreg Project - A Four Foot Tall Medicine Cabinet

Liam's first attempt at case work has been developing nicely. He says that the Kreg jig is so easy to use, and it is. The beauty of this tool is the first time you use it, there is a perfect joint. Liam has inspired many of the neighbor kids as well, the local Lowes store loves the increased business of providing Kreg jigs to his friends and fellow students at the home schooling co-op that we attend.
One of Liam's teachers has placed an order for two night tables (his first project) along with a matching headboard. The home schooling co-op has enlisted my assistance (the dad) to teach a woodshop class which utilizes the Kreg jig exclusively, due to its simplicity and joint strength. No other tool available gives you the results you can achieve with the Kreg jig. First-time students are building a Stickley Craftsman Telephone Stand No. 605. And it all started with a little boy's math lesson, enhanced by the Kreg Pocket Hole Jig.

This simple tool has created a platform to build not only furniture projects, but a better relationship between a father and his son, a boy and his peers, and an eight-year old's self esteem.
