thanks for the information on the Kreg bit. I wish I had a spare at the time. I was 5 pocket holes away from finishing my project. I am new to woodworking and got the Kreg Jig K4. I LOVE IT! I have gone Jig happy wanting to build things. I am also new to posting comments. I will try to post a picture of my cabinet I built for the garage. I built 2 of them because I liked the first one so much and it really holds a lot of stuff. Thanks for the welcome to the community.
Thanks for the welcome Jim. Glad to be here...Got the Master Set Tool Box - and am excited to put it to use. Have tried a few test pieces and see this tool will be very useful.

Thank you for the welcome. I am in the process of spinning up my new workshop in between honey-dos. My first project with my Kreg Jig looks like it will be support benches for my 108" counter top that is being re-purposed as a tool bench and storage shelf. So hope to make some saw dust in a week or two... Cheers!
Thanks for the welcome. I am not sure what to start with. I need a wooden bookcase with doors. I've read that in order to use Kreg joinery all pieces of wood should have straight edges and angles should be right; so I decided to buy all the boards that are cut to specific sizes I need. But prior to the bookcase I think it is better to build something easier, e.x. a bench.
I making a hex ring out of 2x4s ripped to 2 ¾ inches wide with 30 degree miters. What setting on the Jig should I used? 1 ½ is too much. Thanks.Continue

Jim,
I like your boxes and your new bunk beds. They look really sharp, Jim. Keep making saw dust and I'll talk with you soon. Stay safe.
I was here and I am glad to have you as a friend, Jim.
