Dimensioned Desk

Well Since KregRep posted a comment on this project at LumberJocks I figured I would post it here as well. I am currently working on building an office suite out of dimensioned pine. The Kreg Jig is my main joinery technique.

I built the desk first and used a hand saw with miter box and Kreg Jig in order to do my miter joints.…

TV Stand

After buying a flat panel 37" TV, our existing entertainment center had to go. Pricing new ones was discouraging. They cost almost as much as the TV! So I got the ok from my wife to build one. As I posted on the forum I ran into some trouble drilling the pocket screws into the oak faceframe. The screws caused bulges and a few poked through! Both pieces of wood were 3/4 inch and I followed the specs on my Kreg tools. I had no problems on my last project and I built to whole thing with a Kreg Jr.… Continue

Liam's Second Kreg Project - A Four Foot Tall Medicine Cabinet

Liam's first attempt at case work has been developing nicely. He says that the Kreg jig is so easy to use, and it is. The beauty of this tool is the first time you use it, there is a perfect joint. Liam has inspired many of the neighbor kids as well, the local Lowes store loves the increased business of providing Kreg jigs to his friends and fellow students at the home schooling co-op that we attend.

One of Liam's teachers has placed an order for… Continue

Liam's First Project, a Craftsman Night Table

He decided to build a night table for his mother, more to win her heart I think than anything else.

Liam designed the table (rough sketch, no drafting… Continue

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
