I used poplar for this project. The finish is a Golden oak polyshade with a few coats of polycrylic.
Thank you Jim. This was actually done 3 years ago, just never got around to joining the community and posting. This hutch actually had a few firsts in it. The Kreg system, glass etching and wood burning all combined.
More projects to come as I get organized and get them posted.

Nice looking piece. If I may ask, what type of wood did you use and how did you finish the piece? I like the warmth in the finished pieces color.

I making a hex ring out of 2x4s ripped to 2 ¾ inches wide with 30 degree miters. What setting on the Jig should I used? 1 ½ is too much. Thanks.Continue
