Kreg Owners' Community

Hello all, my name is Jake from Bethel, Ohio. I have been using Kreg products for about two years and this past winter I purchased the Foreman. I'm having an issue I hope someone can help me with. When I use the Foreman I noticed the pocket holes were not as deep as they are on the benchtop model. No matter what I have done it's still the same. I have tried different size bits, moving the depth around, but still the same. Anyone have any suggestions for me?

Jake,

Peruse the instructions--go thru each step, and double-check your setups.

I don't have any issues with mine.

Obtain some scrap material and make some practice pieces.

Jake,

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Foreman. It sounds as if you need to adjust the depth setting on your jig. This will allow the bit to penetrate deeper than you are currently experiencing. What thickness of material you are working with? If you could please let us know, we would be more than happy to walk you through the set up process. You may contact us directly by phone at 800-447-8638 or by email at technicalsupport@kregtool.com

Thank you
