Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had tips or advice on how to get a strait cut during the last few inches of the rip cut. It seems that once the aluminum guide rail passes the end of the sheet you are cutting it cases some instability and you have to basically free hand. Any tips?

Maybe you need a version that supports the saw past the end of the panel being cut.
this wobble at the end is the main reason i haven't bought this thing yet. it seems like a significant design flaw
Some are quick to blame the OEM.
When, in fact, in most cases it's the operator.
Many aren't skilled in the proper use of an elect hand saw.
After making my first purchase of an electric hand saw, it took some practice to get a
good clean cut, at the end of the board. After some use, I use an electric hand saw more than I do my table saw,
for cross cutting and ripping.
#1. One needs a good blade, and a blade that is suitable for the cutting task.
True, a good blade is vital, but it's obvious that the product is fundamentally flawed.
This product is great except for the last 2 inches. You have to free hand it and it is difficult because the front of the jig wants to direct downward as it is no longer supported by the piece you are cutting. A solution is put a piece the same thickness as what you are cutting in front of it to support the jig untill you are done with the cut. But this is not easy and is time consuming.
I've found the same issue. I think it depends heavily on the saw you're using. I have two circular saws; an older B&D, and a Dewalt. With the Dewalt the plate on the saw extends out a bit farther in front, and it's very hard to finish a cut well. With the B&D it's much easier, as there is still a fair bit of the guide in contact with the piece when you're finishing the cut.
The play is enough that I don't use the RipCut any more with the Dewalt.

Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing. How effective is it? It's adaptable to any router table. Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
