Kreg Owners' Community

Hi all, first time poster.

I'm curious about the dimension markings where the material is clamped. I have the Master Jig. I put in 3/4" material, and the readings lined up with the 1-1/2" marking. I did not see an explanation in the manual.

If the above isn't clear, these are the only real markings on the jig aside from the depth collar guide.

Just curious, as it doesn't seem vital to anything. Thanks,

Great answer Rob. Exactly right.
How many of you used these marks? Would the jig be simpler and/or less confusing with these marks removed?
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks Rob - appreciate the answer.

KregRep - I personally do not plan on using these markings as they seem redundant to me. Not a big deal either way though if you remove them or leave them be. Maybe add the explanation into the manual? Very minor though...

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
