Easier to buy but where is the challenge in that?

When you buy, you have to adapt to what it is.

When you build, you make it what you want/need.

Most of us are here on this site because we want to build.

Thanks Brad I appreciate your comment! I will take the challenge and Build this my self, that way I can tweek it to what I feel I need For a layout, assembly bench, Thanks again to You and another member who suggested I take the Challenge of Building What do you suggest for the track system, the

kreg/Rockler tracks or are there some other brands that suffice? Thanks your suggestions will be greatly appreciated and taken into consideration.

I used the Kreg Clamp Track and clamp blocks with Rockler T-track to use their inline clamps so I can use it to make boxes.

2nd bench will be drilled with 3/4 holes at 96mm centres with a downdraft box. I have a panel clamp system that will work with the dog holes and drilled bars. I have Kreg inline clamps and dogs that will allow the Automax clamps to screw into the dog tops rather than use the Kreg adaptor.

Hi Todd,

Thanks for your interest! Both options offer unique benefits. With the Mobile Project Center, no assembly is required, and the tables provide a large 27¾" x 31½" (70x80cm) work surface with 360° access. Learn more on the product page

Clamping accessories allow you to customize a custom-built workbench. If you are looking for workbench related project plans, our website buildsomething.com is a good place to start.

Happy Building!

This is my work surface. It is 2 layers of 3/4 MDF on top of an old kitchen base cabinet. The height also allows me to use it as a tablesaw outfeed. It has heavy duty lockable swivel caster on the bottom.

The work surface is roughly 2 ft. by 4 ft.

Looking good. You might want some clamp blocks too.
