I'm Patrick from central CA. I haven't really done much wood working since Jr. HS wood shop (spring '89). Did a few things with my dad, but used to enjoy Norm on tv. I bought a K4 master last weekend. Ordered a right angle clamp and some screws since the only place that would sell larger amounts for a reasonable amount is wholesale only around here.
I Have a few projects on my list: garage shelves (hoping to do these next weekend), the workbench (the shelves come first so there's room for the workbench), and 2-3 desks. Somewhere in there I'm also planning on a hutch like piece (best way I can think of it) for work. We recently downsized office. We have about 25 lbs in a 10lb office. Ran out of floor space for furniture so I'm looking to built something to hold our plotter (think of an inkjet printer that can print on 24" wide paper) with a media bin and some storage for paper.
Hello, My name is John and I live in Rochester, NY. I have gotten into woodworking in a big way in the past year, and have been using pocket hole joinery for several projects with good success. However, I recently ran into a problem with a rail-and-stile joint in quarter sawn white oak. While 7 of the joints were fine, on the eighth one, the grain in the stile started to split as I completed the installation of the screw near the outer edge. The rails and stiles were 2" wide, so both screws were about 0.5" from the rail edge. Has anyone run into a problem like this? Thanks for any suggestions,
John
Howdy all

Currently in the process of a full kitchen remodel that include opening a wall, adding new countertop space, cabinets, 2 tier peninsula, cooktop and double ovens. Oh yeah also removed a chimney from the kitchen and room above.
Refinished the front door about a year ago and was very pleased with the results. What do you think?

It is a good investment. I built a small table using pocketholes rather than mortise and tenons. It was a real time saver.
Great for making cabinets, best tool around for making and attaching faceframes to cabinets. Hundreds of uses, you will not be disappointed with purchase.

Hello All,
I'm Mike and I've been seriously woodworking for the past 15 years or so. Bought my first Kreg pocket hole jig a couple of years ago when building my kitchen cabinets. I wish I had bought one sooner. One of the best tool purchases I've made.

Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing. How effective is it? It's adaptable to any router table. Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
