Installing the Micro-Adjuster on the router fence?

I recently picked up the KMS7215 Micro-Adjuster, and can't for the life of me figure out how to install it. The instructions point to a bracket that's not there and a rail that's not on top, but on the side.

Can anyone advise me on how to install the damn thing?
