I've decided to get back into woodworking and dug out my old Kreg K2 jig. It's definitely a K2, not a K2000, being made of cast aluminum.
I can't find a user manual anywhere.
The drill guides need to be raised up considerably to properly place the screws in "2-by" stock but either there wasn't any spacer included or I've lost it. I want to use 1.5" board to build my workbench.
Can anyone help?
WW
PS: Someone posted a user manual on another thread, saying it was for a K2, but it was for a K2000, I think Kreg's first blue plastic pocket hole jig. Did Kreg even have a user manual for the K2?

Unfortunately, the K2 was designed to work exclusively with 3/4" material and we do not offer an extension for 1 1/2" material. Some customers have built their own; however, it is not recommended. Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing. How effective is it? It's adaptable to any router table. Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
