Well I bought my first Kreg Ji the R3 Jr last thanksgiving and have made lots of pieces with it. Unfortunately today part of it broke though and so I guess that is it for now :-( Not sure if to buy another R3 or save for a while for a different model.

If it were me and I was in the market for a new jig, I would be going with the K5. I started with the Kreg Jr just to see if I could accomplish and enjoying doing pocket hole joinery. I loved it and soon bought the K4. ( It was before the K5 was introduced). I do not think you would regret "moving up".
Hi. The clamp plate broke unfortunately. It is probably just through a lot of use but shame it didn't last longer. Thanks.
