Jens, just a thought about running that stuff through a planer, make sure you go over the planks with a stud detector or some other form of metal detector

Jens , very nice use of reclaimed barn boards with many uses , such as home and even in a wood shop for storage of tools or supplies!!! Yes it is getting harder to make sales lately , as people think you can make it for just about nothing , but people do not realize what is made by the home wood workers is made much better !!! Anyway another job well done and keep makeing saw dust , JIM
There are to many chair and picnic table builders around here.Heck u can go to Harbor Freight and buy Adirondack chair for 39.00 .One guys sells picnic tables planed stained for 165.00 So it seems he is making about 4.00 hour

With spring comin on maybe you should concentrate on outside projects. lawn furniture and such.

I making a hex ring out of 2x4s ripped to 2 ¾ inches wide with 30 degree miters. What setting on the Jig should I used? 1 ½ is too much. Thanks.Continue
